Did a lot of research on goretex shoes before choosing these. My requirement was that they should be waterproof, keep me warm in the winter and be able to be used for different types of trousers/clothes/occasions. Now I have been using them for about 1-2 weeks. I am overall very satisfied, incredibly good shoes. There is a minus or two as always. +very comfortable to walk in, soft in the sole like a running shoe. +special design but I like it. +very warm and primaloft is terrible when you get damp, dries quickly - you must wear high socks as the last cuts into the heel tendon otherwise. - sometimes it can be uncomfortable if you don't get your tongue in the right place when tying your shoes. Recommended for those who want warm waterproof shoes who do not want a boot.
