Hawx Ultra XTD 110 Boa 23/24 Black/Orange

A boot that fits like a mold on my foot, is light and has good riding characteristics. Works fine both on and off the piste, but prefer slightly stiffer boots without walking mode when you want to bomb. BOA: Really like the ability to easily adjust the tension over the foot, micro-adjust both tighter and looser, as well as easily release the tension, e.g. when riding a lift. It's a shame that only the two lower buckles have been replaced. However, sometimes I got snow in the "spindle" so the wire didn't come off immediately, but required a little prying. Otherwise, it feels solid, let's hope it lasts in the long run. Walking mode: have not tried skiing with tech binding, but it is nice to drop into walking mode in e.g. the lift queue. However, it crunches quite a bit when you walk. Riding: Flex probably fits pretty well, have a couple of other Atomics that are 120 and these feel a bit softer. Otherwise stable and light boots, I think they provide good contact with the ski and respond with even flex when you load it.
