The model has long been a recurring favourite among freeride skiers, piste skiers and park enthusiasts with its enclosing fit, aggressive response and awesome power transmission.
The liner is one of Burton's premium varieties. It means high cushioning, low weight, that it can be shaped to your foot with the help of heat and has DRYRIDE Heat CycleTM technology to retain heat inside the shoe while being able to breathe and divert moisture.
Between the liner and the sole sits a foil membrane that insulates and prevents cold from entering the shoe and heat from leaking out.
The Boa function is here to stay! It makes it quick and hassle-free to put on and take off the shoe, helps to get an even pressure over the entire foot and you don't have to take off your gloves to adjust.
You can also easily release the pressure when you're on the lift and then quickly tighten before skiing. The liner is tightened and held on the seats with a quick lacing, it provides a better heel grip and allows you to adjust your boot completely to your preferences.
