It has a waterproof membrane for tough weather and padded zones around the collar and tongue, so that the foot is comfortably enveloped. It's a complete and uncompromising shoe that takes you all the way.
When long-distance comfort is a must, the Energy Foam midsole provides premium cushioning, while a padded tongue and collar add soft, close-to-the-foot support. The sole's Reverse Camber geometry facilitates smooth transitions and responsive running, while the 5mm studs act as a filter against the ground and increase comfort.
The Elixir GTX 9 W is suitable for shorter day hikes in mixed terrain.
