All Mindbender skis in the series that have metal reinforcement are built with a construction called Powerwall Sidewall. This makes the ski extremely powerful when putting it on the edge and also makes the ski very direct & precise. The essence of the Mindbender series is the view that carving and freeriding should not exclude each other. You must be able to carve and ride large freerides on the same ski. This has been achieved through a design known as Torsion Control Design. A technique that makes it possible to get the ski extremely stiff at the front edge (better ice grip & stability) but also makes it more playful at the end of the ski to make it responsive. The design is called Titanal Y-Beam Technology and is a metal layer that is tactically located on the required part of the ski for different properties.
