Lightweight insulation jacket from Houdini
Lightweight women's insulation jacket, with a longer fit, lined with Primaloft® Gold. The Dunfri Parka is lightweight, highly packable and provides enough warmth to keep you cosy in almost all conditions. Wear it as a standalone garment or as an extra layer of insulation under a winter jacket.
The idea behind the Dunfri Parka originally came to Houdini from a mountain guide who wanted a longer insulating jacket to carry in his backpack. To stay comfortable in general but also as a safety garment should he need to spend the night outdoors. An insulation jacket that covers not only the torso but also the hips makes a big difference in a survival situation. Most of us don't spend many nights in mountain passes, but the lightweight, wonderfully warm feel of the Dunfri Parka works great however you choose to spend your winters.
The Women's Dunfri Parka is made with Spinner Ripstop, a very lightweight and durable fabric and insulated with Primaloft® Gold, a high quality synthetic lining. Primaloft® Gold has a warmth-to-weight ratio similar to down, but performs much better in wet conditions. It packs easily into a stow pocket and has a wonderfully soft feel. The Down Free Parka is treated with a PFAS-free water-repellent impregnation. Both the fabric and the lining are made from 100% recycled and recyclable polyester. We use synthetic lining, not only for better performance, but also because we don't think birds should suffer for our comfort.
Bring the Women's Dunfri Parka to keep you warm on your ski trip or climbing expedition, pack it on your camping trip, or simply use it against the cold on your way to work. The combination of a clean, minimalist look and cutting-edge performance makes it a true chameleon, both in terms of functionality and style.
