Very comfortable outdoor jacket constructed from two different softshell materials. Cecilie Mountain Softshell Jacket is reinforced with a wind- and water-repellent material with PFAS-free impregnation in exposed areas. In the back and under the arms, it has a lighter material with good breathability and moisture-wicking properties. Spacious front pockets provide easy access to your belongings even when wearing a backpack. The jacket has no side seams to prevent chafing at the sides, which provides greater comfort and reduces frictional wear. Good fit, thin and stretchy fabric. Doesn't hold up to as much water as I would have expected so little deduction for that. Even some splashes are absorbed into the fabric, more expensive similar jackets eg Arcteryx Gamma lightweight withstand drizzle significantly better. However, this jacket breathes a little better in the back during high activity, which was my goal, so overall I'm satisfied. Very spacious pockets with good placement. Bergans are large in size so I always have to go down a size compared to other brands. This jacket runs true to size for the brand as a whole.
