It works well and above all with a skiing carrier. I've used it to teach snowboarding and it has some difficulties…beyond the inevitable…namely that the harness tends to create a bit of "pull in the back" and that creates pull against the heel turn. It's not "the whole world" but giving a little imbalance to someone who is trying to learn to find the right balance can be a little sensitive
