Probe 280 Speed Lock Vibrant Orange

This probe, the Probe 280 Speed Lock, is designed to be extremely quick to assemble and easy to use, especially in pressurised situations. Every detail is carefully designed to fulfil its sole purpose - to deliver the highest performance. The probe's robust but lightweight construction in durable aluminium makes it stable and easy to handle. Thanks to the user-friendly telescopic Speed Lock system with high tensile strength, installation is quick and safe. A clear click sound indicates when the probe is correctly deployed and tensioned. The ergonomic handle can be easily attached to the probe when in use to stay out of the way. The updated 360-degree depth guide always gives you precise information, and the moulded tip easily cuts through snow and debris, saving energy during rescue work. In addition, the lower part of the probe is highlighted in orange to provide clear visual guidance when approaching a buried victim. All Mammut avalanche probes are UIAA certified, ensuring efficiency, durability and ergonomic use. When folded, the probe measures 45 cm, and fully extended it reaches a length of 280 cm. It also comes with a protective case that includes an integrated emergency plan.
