The Spin system is POC's own technology and serves to reduce rotating forces against the head.

The NFC technology allows you to upload medical information to the helmet. This is for emergency responders to be able to give you the fastest possible care, which is extremely important if you're injured out on the mountain as there is a very narrow time frame.
